Hi all,

short announcement.

Good news! Republic Polytechnic has allowed us to use their venue so the venue for Mars Watch 2005 will be at RP. It is walking distance from Redhill MRT.

More details will be posted as they are worked out.

Hi, I should be able to bring down my C8 for the event as well. Didn't really have the chance to seriously use it yet. Will need the experts to assist! :)

Mars Watch donations

Post by chrisyeo »

Dear All,

If you feel that Mars Watch 2005 is a worthwhile effort to spread the understanding and joys of astronomy, and you would like to support this event, I'd like to welcome donations of any kind to be part of our lucky draw or to help pay for printing/materials/etc.

I thank you sincerely in advance.

Christopher Yeo

Mooey asked me about publicity last night and I told him I will contact the newspapers and promote the event on some of the other places that I lurk.
I do hope the rest will also do the same...

btw, chris, any constraints? since its in Republic Poly, will there be restrictions imposed on members of public?
