I also saw the partial eclipse, at the SSC observatory last night. We were helping out to show some handicapped children from Camp Rainbow to a view of the Moon thru the C11 scope. Obviously they were delighted with the Moon viewing.

Gosh! Another opportunity wasted! :( All I remembered was having myself walking drowsily to the kitchen-just woke up from a short nap- then I noticed that part of the sky was brightened up by something when I looked out of the window.. Suddenly, it struck me that there would be a partial eclipse! :o Tried sticking my head out like nobody's business to find the moon from my window but it seems like the moon is way too high up! Only managed to see its reflected light on the clouds… Arrghhh!!! What a waste! Think if I tried stretching my neck any further, I might be flying 16 storeys down instead.. :? Truthfully, up till now..I still have no idea what time it was when I looked out.. :bangwall: Still wondering if I could have caught the partial eclipse.. Think my memory is starting to fail me real badly....sigh.. :|
