even fungus just take out the mirror and clean it. At the price you bought nothing to lose.

I saw through the 66 and 56 before. They are incredible scopes. They eat power for breakfast and lunch. When you think that the 66 is going to breakdown at 400X, heck, you still see details at that magnification. I ran out of magnification with the 66 at a max of around 438x (5mm Pentax XL with 2.5x TV Barlow) on Saturn. It was still pretty sharp. Very amazing for a 6 inch.

But Elton was right. The 66 was quite big but still managable. I have never seen the 76 before, but I can imagine the size.

You are going to have fun using the 76 on planets.
