Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

GPS can do all the work like leveling, time/date/location input, pointing geographic north and so on?

Congratulations on hitting 800 posts.. I wonder whether the administrator will merge your posts. Haha..
Clear skies,

I have tried an LX 200R GPS, yes, the GPS, and the Meade software takes care of everything, then you get very good tracking and GOTO, but it is FORK mounted.

I am not sure if any mass produced GEM GOTO system can do that or not. But there are polar alignment functions in certain GEM GOTO systems, like SS2K and Astrophysics which works quite well!

So if not, just get a commerical GPS which can show you geographic north and align the mount manually. Leveling is achieved with the bubble level on the mount.

I know that StarGPS do the job of inputting the date, time and location. I got to find out that whether it will help pointing the mount to the geographic north.
Clear skies,
Robin.
