CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!
The condition of the sky where I took star trails is very good. Background color is bright because of small stars. After I play level & curve a bit in CS, all the small dim stars came out and background color become bright.
Yes, the picture is a bit noisy as I took only a few dark files.
Now I know I should take more dark files in future.
Clear Skies!

Hello universe24,
Please feel free to contact or PM me before you come. I can give you some contacts for taking pictures in Bagan because even it is safe, you will need some local people to walk around in night times.

When do you suggest would be a good time to visit Bagan, where there are not too many tourists and weather is good?

I would say winter would be the best which is from November to February.
Our summer is very hot especially in Bagan. Rainy season is too wet and cloudy all the times.
On our last trip, the sky was so...... clear and weather is cold. Temperature would be around 15~18 in night times.
There will be tourists but not too many.
Feel free to contact me if you have plan to come or want some info.
