hahahhaa junwei your face dam funny.

What really fascinate me was the Orion nebula using a narrowband filter on the mewlon and mars at high mag. The polar ice caps were very obvious.

Wow looks like everyone had a good time! I'll definitely make it for the next one when I'm back in the later half of the year.

Yeah, thanks for setting it up Remus and thanks to everyone for the hospitality - it was great to finally get a look through a scope!

I really loved seeing everything but particularly M42. What really surprised me was the 30-second exposure of it - I didn't realize a single unprocessed/unstacked image would contain so much clarity and colour.

I think I'll probably stay with my choice of a NexStar 8SE. That way I can do some basic (short exposure) astrophotography of the brighter objects and always upgrade to an EQ mount later if scope fever strikes. :) So probably in a few months you'll be joined by an orange scope at Eunos!

wow..good meetup. sorry I missed it. [smilie=crying2.gif]
I think that group photo more or less killed off everyone's "dark adaptation"!
But the site does bring back fond memories. Good of you to organise the event, Remus. [smilie=cute.gif]

Wow... I noticed not only the telescope apertures have grown bigger, the waistlines too! Heh...
