Hi,Konata1550
About astronomy books, besides borders....;Astro Scientific in science centre;or even Joo beng' astrobargain has some. You can get books on observing the moon/planets or if you are interested in M objects or the cadwell objects then O'Meare book will be a great help--only available at astro scientific. They have stocks. My 2 cents.

btw is 4x30mm bino good enuff? or need higher? even thought i read the astronomy equipment guide
i am still not quite sure so i asking.

*EDITED getting a scope soon but i might need a bino too
depends how u define good. what would you be observing. this bino gives a magnification of 4x so if you are expecting to see details on planet, if would be much of an impossible. this bino i would say is more of a stargazing tool thanks to the wider FOV. in addition, its light.

If you are tight on budget, what you can possibly do is to see/view/try at science centre and get a quote from Joo Beng.

What andeelym mean was, email Joo Beng about which scopes you are interested in, and maybe Joo Beng can give you a special price or discount.

please note that 10x50 would be heavy for holding even for short durations. even a slight movement would "hurt" a lot. so you would need a tripod to prevent shaky sight.
