yeah man...in the Mewlon's first light at Dempsey yesterday, Wira showed us M42 and it was awesome! The nebulosity was very bright and the stars were pin point sharp at high magnification....cool...if only we can take a peek at Saturn as well but alas, the battery powering the LX200 on which the Mewlon is attached to decided it cannot take the full load...so it had to be taken down...once Wira gets a mount for it, we should be having more fun!

unfortunately, no.....and looks like it will be some time before we can see the Mewlon again as Wira has some transport problem currently.
I had the camer with me but for the life of me, never thought to take a pic!
