Hi Kimhai,
I am thinkin of mounting my MCT on it. By the way I think OEM means the 80mm scope is a generic scope comng from the same souurce in China. :wink:

OEM actually means original equipment manufacturer.

i'm quite sure it can handle the weight of your MCT yuanhuan.
i think its the same weight as my ota.

These companies specialise in designing generic products, then sell them to well known company which repackages it as their own.
Examples of OEM relationship would be notebooks. Ever wonder why some models from different companies look the same?
Synta is an up and coming OEM manufacturer for low to mid range astro-optics products. Their customers include Orion , Celestron and Skywatcher. In fact, my Orion ED80 is likely a Synta product as well unless I am mistaken.
