haha.. yup rite! that place actually not bad for dark sky.. but still do have skyglow at some part of the sky.. but still a place we can call dark.. =) hmm a 8" is .. i think can carry and walk in.. hehe.. just get some help..

Hi!
No problem!! :D

At most if the SPF people are using the place, we will stay beside the canal.

Description of the place:
There are two distinct knolls at both sides of the canal. The northern knoll faces west( ard 200 degrees view ) and the southern knoll(the one i ob at) faces east had a view of the bukit timah hill(also ard 200 degrees).

Skyglow is evident but greatly reduced by surrounding vegetation. There are also 2 2-3 football fields size grasslands at the both sides of the area. The eastern patch provides 360 deg view but the lights of the nearby CCk are there. The northern patch overlooks keat hong camp and bbt hill and faces east.

Basically, lots of place to ob at this place.

hmm a 8" is .. i think can carry and walk in.. hehe.. just get some help..
8" scope can be trolleyed; or someone can drive by. Otherwise 5" can be easily backpacked.

how to get in? by foot lo, or by cycling loh.. :D ..and no, its not fenced up at all. You must be refering to another place.
