Hi sorry to revive this old thread.
Im using a Celestron Nexstar SE6 and i intend to DIY a power pack for use of a laptop and the goto scope itself. Which should i use if i intend to use both for about 8 hrs per charge?

Im thinking of 2 7AH SLA batteries, does any1 have any opinion on this set up?

By the way how does one get the custom plugs for the laptop and the scope? What are they called (to tell the uncle at the shop i want it)
