I owned this scope like 7-8 years ago! Amazing scope. was a good experience the last time. actually meeting at Long John Silver is a good idea when the weather is not too good. In fact, it is interesting to have a gathering like this and discuss about astronomy and equipment, and at the same time get to know more about our fellow astronomers. Would definitely second another go at this. And when the weather clears, we just need to go upstairs to the carpark and start our eyeballs rolling..
I believe, the other forums like Clubsnap do have regular meetings at fast food chains for their members to mingle, interact, and talk photography. Good work, antares!!
