Found dark observing site in Bedok North

I will bring my 8 inch dob if the weather is permitting. If not I can just go there and have a chat with you guys and have Long John Silver supper hey. :)

I will be observing again on this coming Monday (09/01/06) , details are the same as the above post. Bring extra cash for makan at Long John Silver (optional..hehe...)if weather is bad :P

First light tonight with my Intes Micro Alter M603, breathtaking view of moon when the sky was clear. Great contrast and resolution (OTA is well-baffled, even the finder is baffled), will held its own against any 5" apo :-)

I owned this scope like 7-8 years ago! Amazing scope. Gave me a lot of good memories as well as some bad ones.

My area here in Bishan has been raining since 12am...you must have been really lucky to have clear sky.

there was a brief 15 minutes where the moon was not blocked by clouds.

hi all,
was a good experience the last time. actually meeting at Long John Silver is a good idea when the weather is not too good. In fact, it is interesting to have a gathering like this and discuss about astronomy and equipment, and at the same time get to know more about our fellow astronomers. Would definitely second another go at this. And when the weather clears, we just need to go upstairs to the carpark and start our eyeballs rolling..
I believe, the other forums like Clubsnap do have regular meetings at fast food chains for their members to mingle, interact, and talk photography. Good work, antares!!
