I agree! I've learnt more this pass 2 years on SingAstro and CN than 10 years of reading books from the library ..

No, it not normal. Usually, he'll reply very soon... even when he is at oversea. May be he now in some places that got no internet connection??

Anyway, I think you got a few choices:
1) Buy directly from oversea, or
2) Learn to have more patience ... patience is what you need most in Astronomy. While waiting:
a) spend more time reseach your intended equipment to make sure you buy the right one first time,
b) spend time reading the manual for your intended equipment (can download it from manufacturer website), and
c) spend more time reading about practical Astronomy and understand the terms use in Astronomy.

Aiyoh y'all behave like my dad , asking me to have patience and all. I'm the other kind of astronomer , the one that wants to dive into it.

Thats why i found his response time a bit worrying , even overseas he should be responding, actually i wanted to go down to take a look at the scopes , i might decide to buy through vpost (cheaper) , or maybe he might offer a good deal.

If you're the impatient type like me, than your only choice are goto scopes.
Much shorter learning curve. You only need to learn some important constellations and stars for alignment, learn how to use the controller and walla, you are at the selected object!
BTW, the Astrobargain guy (actually a trio) are like you and me. This is not their core business. He is doing it out of interest and as service to fellow singastroians (of course the profit helps too).
So sometimes when he is out of the country, he may take longer to reply.
