Grab and go, bro :)
Its somewhat cloudy here in Punggol, Sirius is visible but faintly so there must be quite a bit of high level clouds.
Couple of nights ago Saturn almost blinded me. Pity it was 5am and I had an early morning or out would have come the 'scope and cam :)

This is where a small scope or Bino's really help fill in the void!

Hazy now East to South. Canopus is faint and not as bright a couple of hours ago. Zenith is clear (SG standards) but looking at the Satellite Images it may be clearer 1 or 2am onwards. Unless winds kick in!

Normally I use Sirius, Canopus and a few stars from a few constellations to gauge if I wish to set up for AP! If I can't see those stars, or Sirius/Canopus is faint, I probably won't bother. Luck of the draw as sometimes I awake for a drink of water around 3am, take a look with my sleepy eyes and the stars are all looking at me Laughing!!
My wife never complained about how much time, effort & money I spent on my Astronomy hobby!................suddenly I met her!!!
