I saw some stars in Aquila, Cygnus area when I was in Malaysia this week. The haze seems to be getting better.. now we just need the clouds to go away!

The haze is clearing because the monsoon is coming in... either way it's bad for observing...
[80% Steve, 20% Alfred] ------- Probability of Clear Skies = (Age of newest equipment in days) / [(Number of observers) * (Total Aperture of all telescopes present in mm)]

Tachyon, don't worry too much, at least the clouds can clear! I'm hoping for a nice night to restart my ob group at toa payoh too, it's been so long since i put my scope at the park and saw some niceties..
Stargazing ... is an excuse to stay up past bedtime that never fails!

last night was relatively very clear, very nice to see orion back. Anyone going malaysia tomorrow for an ob or recce?

Saw quite a number of stars yesterday at around 11pm..The Summer triangle and a couple of winter constellations I think :) I'm ecstatic that PSI levels are returning to normal!! Even reached a reading of 19.. is that considered low?

yesterday was very clear, I enjoyed seeing the Orion and of course the M42 orion nebula....this is my first time lookng at the Orion in a scope...fantastic I couldn't believe that we can see this object clearly visible in our sky... 8-).

The sky here in Kluang is so clear but the monsoon season has come. It brings lot of clouds. :(

Last night cleared up somewhat I I was able to see some stars...something I was not able to see for weeks now. In fact, I managed to make out Orion and identified capella too...heh heh but tonight its back to clouds clouds clouds inspite of the haze not being present ...
