The one I'm suggesting is Meng Huat. Not sure if you guys really wanna drive 20-30 min to Saujana or Yeo's for kelong seafood dinner. Ambience there is good. But it's fairly dark at night. Need to turn on fog light.

Don't worry, most of them (the old bird) are well train in eating without seeing... ha ha ha   Once you are dark adapted, you can see the "thing" you are about to eat, but won't know what is it until it in your mouth... Hmm... may be a bit too late... ha ha ha

Have a nice day.

I think astrobabe meant that there is a dark stretch of road getting there. (btw, why is a 5-year old girl leading 20 people in the dark? ) I don't think they serve seafood in the dark, as a seafood restaurant is usually lit with many many fluorescent lamps. :)

Hi,
Oh... just a reminder. For those bringing scope there, make sure you bring all the document to proof that your equipment is for astronomical use and not for something else. It's IMF period, so I think the check will be 110%.

Have a nice day.

Erm, that's not what I meant really. The seafood restoran is well-lit, it's the road that is dark. You know how "budget conscious" the authorities are so one's gotta rely on one's fog lights to guide u thru the kampung areas. And some ppl ride motorbikes without lights and without helmets so one's gotta watch out for them.

Yes yes, please do. If possible, bring your receipt along as well to prove that it's not new. Anything that's new is taxable. But then again, it all depends on your luck and the M'sian immigration officer's mood. Anyway, there's a whole gang of us...I won't be there at the checkpoint with you guys, so please help to "cover" for each other. Which means if one gets into a little bit of trouble over the telescope matter, the rest please help the poor guy negotiate/sweet-talk the officer. Numbers do count. :)

After we rendevous with Roland at GP Petronas station, I suggest that some of the people in the first three cars can hop over to join Roland's MPV, so that there is more space for everyone. :)
