Hi all! new to this site.

:mryellow: Hi all just found this wonderful site ,
i am not so much a beginner as I have been into astronomy and telescopes for 25 years , but I did not know where to say hi , so Hi !
I am an active member of 2 clubs , the Northland astro society , in Whangarei NZ and as I now live and work in Darwin Australia , I am also a DAG . 'Darwin astro group' member .
I also are very active on the Australian astronomy web site ' Ice in Space'
I own 7 refractors from 60mm to 152mm Apo's and Achro's ,I am a visual abserver mainly but have snapped a few photos using my HTC phone and a small point and shoot fuji finpix.
plus 4 newtinion's from 125mm to 250mm . all built by me mirrors included , its my major hobbie you might say :)
I will now spend the rest of the day looking thru this huge site and might comment on a few .

I know it is there some where , but I cant seem to find the link? :mrgreen:

Here is my Zeiss with the 1.25 inch adaptor I machined up to fit a WO dielectric diagonal , so I can use my 1.25 inch eyepieces.

Hi Brian,
Its as Gary had indicated. Your Zeiss telescope is interesting because its not on a camera!
But that kind of aperture will not visually do much in Singapore with our skies but I presume it does wonders down under. :)

Gary , I think my Zeiss is about 1985ish ?
Its an awsome bit of glass it gives views of the moon and planets that are to good for a 63mm refractor ! simply awsome .
Here is my ED127 apo on an iEQ45 mount , fitted with a FT3035 focuser .

The filesize allowed for attachment in this forum is quite small. You may want to post your photos to a online photo album and link it here.
