Re: Observing Satellites & Iridium Flares - 22 Aug
Super bright and very near iridium flare visible from Singapore tonite 2 secs after 7:27pm! Altitude 44° Azimuth 349°
How near is tonight's iridium flare centre visible from SG @ 7:27pm? Almost directly above Toa Payoh, Bishan, AMK!
This is predicted to be a magnitude -8 super bright flyby. Yes. No typo. Minus eight!

Re: Observing Satellites & Iridium Flares
Yupe. But forget about tracking its path early. Too dim for most of its path. Just concentrate at the exact spot it will flare up. Only last for a couple seconds. So make sure your clock is synchronised properly and start staring from 7:26pm.bornfree wrote:it is travelling south to north and visible in the north direction?
