Stargazing TPY Sidewalk 31st March

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Looks good, Gary. I read your post only at 10pm as usual...sigh..
But its good for you to have been so active. I do hope there are more will come back for repeat sessions after your enthusiasm spills over to them :)

Kensou : Nice photos but I think you used a cameraphone to take it? :)

Thanks for your encouragement, Richard!

The credit for these events should go to my friends who came with their scopes, cameras or just being a very valuable resource helping out with the sidewalks and engaging the public. For me is no big deal because I stay near the ob site, I am still single and I can usually sleep till noon the next day. But for them, they need to give up some quality weekend time which they could have spend it with their family and love ones, drive all the way down here fighting weekend dinner-hour traffic, worry about parking, set up all the nice bulky goodies, stand for hours engaging the public, pack up and drive all the way back, unpack stuff from car to home alone way past midnight AND most probably still need to wake early in the morning the next day to attend their appointments with aching bodies!

I am not sure how long I will stay active due to some potential career-related decisions I may have to make but I sure savour every moment of these sessions while I still can! :)
