Object details:
Centaurus A (also known as NGC 5128) is a prominent galaxy in the constellation of Centaurus.
The galaxy is also the fifth brightest in the sky,[11] making it an ideal amateur astronomy target, although the galaxy is only visible from low northern latitudes and the southern hemisphere
Centaurus A is located approximately 4° north of Omega Centauri Because the galaxy has a high surface brightness and relatively large angular size, it is an ideal target for amateur astronomy observations. The bright central bulge and dark dust lane are visible even in finderscopes and large binoculars
At a distance (10-16 million light-years). NGC 5128 is one of the closest radio galaxies to Earth

Object details:
The Whirlpool Galaxy (also known as Messier 51, M51a, or NGC 5194) is an interacting grand-design spiral galaxy that is estimated to be 23 ± 4 million light-years from the Milky Way Galaxy in the constellation Canes Venatici. It is one of the most famous galaxies in the sky. The galaxy and its companion (NGC 5195) are easily observed by amateur astronomers, and the two galaxies may even be seen with binoculars
At an angular diameter of roughly 11.2', it can be inferred that M51's bright circular disk has a radius of about 43,000 light-years. Its mass is estimated to be 160 billion solar masses

Messier 83 (also known as the Southern Pinwheel Galaxy, M83 or NGC 5236) is a barred spiral galaxy[6] approximately 15 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra. It is one of the closest and brightest barred spiral galaxies in the sky, making it visible with binoculars.
It is the southern most Galaxy in the Messier Catalog

Object details:
Pinwheel Galaxy,M101,or NGC 5457, is a face-on spiral galaxyat a distance of 21 Mil Ly away in Constellation Ursa Major.
To observe the spiral structure in modern instruments requires a fairly large instrument, very dark skies, and a low power eye piece
M101 is a relatively large galaxy compared to the Milky Way. With a diameter of 170,000 light-years it is seventy percent larger than the Milky Way. It has a disk mass on the order of 100 billion solar masses, along with a small bulge of about 3 billion solar masses.M101 has five prominent companion galaxies: NGC 5204, NGC 5474, NGC 5477, NGC 5585, and Holmberg IV.
