Haha...this article gives the impression that the Celestron 8SE gives a bigger but poorer quality view of Saturn than a Celestron 130SLT...hmm...?!?

Finally Singastro gets equal billing in a prominent part of the newspaper! And both Remus and Gary gets some airtime too to share with Tasos !
Its good to see some publicity for Astronomy in Singapore. The scope prices don't help but any beginner will usually join the obs sessions to find out more. They kindly included Gary/Dave's Bishan/Toa Payoh CSN site...and with them conducting sessions tonight at both locations, the turnout should be good!
Thanks to Remus and Gary who shared on Singastro and Digital Life too for the article :)

Thanks everyone for your congratulatory comments.

I also want to thank Yong Quan and Chee Chien for referring the ST reporter to me, else I would not have known this reporter was seeking out various astronomy clubs for his cover story. We had a great chat for hours inside SPH.

Perhaps one day in the future, I may blog about the this whole encounter in appreciation of the reporter's dedication to write a good cover story.
