There was an astronomy talk at Jurong Regional Library yesterday by Mr Rohit Johri which was fully pre-registered more than a week ago.
Had a nice chat with Rohit over coffee. Get to know many wonderful stories of his experiences as an amateur astronomer in India. Especially the esteemed academics he was fortunate to interact with.
Glad Alfred came along and together we manage to help him out during the talk. Manage to touch base with the librarians there and they are very keen to collaborate for future stargazing events there.
Some pics of the event:
Following pics by Alfred. Thanks!

"The importance of a telescope is not how big it is, how well made it is.
It is how many people, less fortunate than you, got to look through it."
