Hi,

By selling this scope at a lower price than your purchase cost and then buying a cheaper but smaller scope, you actually don't gain monetary but in fact lose in terms of smaller aperture.

Why don't you keep it? Just my 2 cents..

I strongly agree with stargazer and Dark Neptune and not only that,if you see the forex
market,US dollar is rising fast--previously sing was 1.21 at best,but now fallen to 1.2714
and still falling.So best plan during such time is to keep your astrogear.Otherwise you may
end up at both ends of the losing end--my 2 cents.Also now is NOT the time to buy.

Thanks I know. But this is too bulky for my needs and takes up too much room. I think my casual needs can be fulfilled by a tabletop telescope or a smaller aperture one..maybe even 76mm. So I'm going ahead with selling this for 300.

I previously owned a 114EQ. I wun mind taking your 127EQ, as I certainly wun be going for lower aperture for reflectors.
