WTB : Alt-Az mount that support 15lbs and above

Post by chianboon »

Hi,

Looking for a Alt-az mount to match with a 6" SCT. Manual mount is fine, with slow-mo will be nice.

Any seller? Appreciated.

Edit : tripod needed ( noob getting my first equipment)

I can help u order, look at my thread.

for stability at 15lbs and above there isn't much choice with slo-mo controls, the americans recommend a T-rex mount and others , cost USD750+ to couple thousand

Yes.
I can bring it back from Johor to SG if you need to sample it before order. But I did some strengthening mods to it so it isn't representative of actual product.

This user from india mounted his C6 on it, usable after his personal mod.

I have a AstroSlew Inox that is a manual alt-az mount. it doesnt have any slow-mo or tracking, but it is a very smooth mount. my selling thread is below. the price is negotiable.

@hardwarezone will be nice if trying it out on the mount you have is possible. So far these appears to be the only mount within my small budget
