Hi all layman
Want to spot that comet?For the next few day...at least yop can
You will need a bino...a 7x50 with 7.1 degree view.
1)locate pleides..the 7 sister star cluster
2)shift your bino southward about twice
the visible field size
3)you will see 4 stars....2 brighter on the southern side and two dimmer one on the northern side of the field.This 4 stars will occupy the full 7 degrees fully.
4)shift your bino northward until the most north of this 4 star is at the edge of the field
Of view.
5)give a hard look at the center of field of view.The comet should be there.

Update.....
Comet now south west of pleiades....about one plus half of
the bino field from it......so finding it is easy.Happy obing.

Its moving fast, you will have to give daily updates ! lol

Hi ALL
Yesterday night was hazy and not suitable...esp like looking
at comet like lovejoy.Through the haze,all fuzzy patch around
ordinary stars......so.all look like lovejoy.This 'tailess' comet is
heading to the west of pleiades.Best time to see without hurting
your neck is between 10pm to 1am the next day.Will update if tonight is
feasible to observe.Thanks.
