Hi guys, how do you "transform" a eq mount to an altazimuth mount? I have a little problem using eq mount navigating the skies due to its unability to polar align. All help will be appreciated

Re: Eq mount
Hello,
You cannot "transform" an EQ mount to an AZ mount, unless you are specifically referring to the Sky-Watcher AZ-EQ5 mount.

Re: Eq mount
the old Vixen Polaris can also be transformed into an alt-az mount.

Any equatorial can be "turned" into an altaz mount. In SG just adjust polar alignment 0 degrees and you have an altaz mount
