Ever wondered why this year the skies are even worse than the past years?
In the past, 2-3 days a month we get good skies but not anymore.
Looking at the number of hurricanes these days, I can't help but conclude that our atmosphere is wrecking havoc this year and the worse skies are a direct result of this... according to today's ST article, these hurricane cycle will continue for another 30 years!! oh no!!

As I had predicted, after a hard day of rain, the sky has opened up!
I can see the whole of Pegasus and Cassiopeia from my living room window
If I were 10 years younger and did not work till 10pm the past few days, would have lugged my ETX105 up to the ole multistorey car park to have a peek...
instead, I did the lazy thing...took my Bino and took a look at M31....fairly dim but still there..heh heh
Hope those not working tomorrow will not waste such a glorious clear night!

what are you waiting for? get your scopes out!!

Hi,
what are you waiting for? get your scopes out!!
Too bad, my setup is not as portable as I would like to be.. :( Also, I think most scope will have dew problem in a few hours time if used outdoor in current weather condition... especially after a whole day rain.

Actually, last saturday night was a great night in Tampines... too bad for those who miss the session.

Anyway, the nights before and after a raining day was always very clear! But I prefer the nights before the rain... the air is more dry, so don't have much dew problem.

Have a nice day.
