Looking for a cheap but good telescope

can anyone tell me some good telescope which cost $300-$400 or even $200+...coz...i want to buy it..badly!

at that budget range, i would advise u to get a pair of 50mm binos, a nice planisphere, a gd guide to stars and a ground sheet. cheap binos stay with u for a long time, but cheap scopes get thrashed after some time.

At $300-$400, I think the best you can get is a second hand 80mm refractor.

that scope is a junk....I won't even want to touch it.
Why are you guys thinking of GOTO scopes at this stage? Go out and enjoy the fun of hunting and star hopping. Sweat it out, learn something. There are plenty of time later for GOTO.
