Constellation near Sgr

Post by MCYM »

Hi to all

With my first attempt at creating image rollover in html, I have outlined a few constellations near the Milky Way. With so many stars in the background, It took me a quite a while to recognize the formation. This the same experience in Mersing under clear skies, constellation seems to take on a different looks.

May take a while to load.

hi matthew.
i like this kind of images best...its ideal for beginners. Remus used to do this for some of his images too. BTW, what's with the bar at the bottom left of the image? Does not look like it belonged in the original image.

keep them coming!
cheers

Hi Matthew,

Simply great.

As for the "bar", is it not the street light and light of vehicles

hi matt,
well, you know me...always a newbie (as is all goto people) :-)
mm..I'm surprised they are so "bright" in the pictures. I suppose this is due to reflected light from the stars itself with some glow from the distant town lights?
