Hi,
i've decided on selling my cg5-gt completely computerised mount with carrying bag, batt that'll last u 2 nights and a power adaptor for charging the batt and for indoor use
Then what will be used to mount your C8 if you sell your CG5-GT away??

Have a nice day.

i'm selling cos i do not haf very gd access to car.
so carrying it around is SUPER inconvenient for me and my balcony isn't suited for permanent mouting simply because it doesn't have dg view of sky.
for my c8, i'm thinking using manfrotto camera tripod

don't tell me you want to mount your c8 on a 410 head + 055 tripod

you will need at least a giro dx mount + manfrotto 058 or better tripod.

the C8 OTA alone already approximate 6kg!! normal camera tripod will be like pushing the limit!!

I don't think there is a camera tripod on there that can support the C8. Besides I don't think it's not practical.

my manfrotto 058 tripod supports up to 26lbs load, however, the tripod is quite heavy. I used to mount my c8 on unistar altaz + surveyor tripod. the surveyor tripod is lighter but support more load than my 058 (see my avatar)
