Taken last week with the Coronado PST using Nikon 885 & 25mm eps.
without tracking.

Wow! First time I am seeing this on Singastro. How about reducing the exposure and zooming in on the solar prominences?

Lovely prominence. Nice shot, especially the first one. Now that you get to baby this scope, i suppose there will be more to come in the future?

I thought to take these shots you need HA filter and those cost several thousand dollars. How is it possible for a scope and filter to cost only $1200?
Is it because the aperture is small?
