It is a used C5 (black OTA) that I brought from Kayheem. Used only once in Mersing... Initial impression is that it got the most smooth focuser in any C5 or C8 I had seen so far.

Have a nice day.

image quality still can not beat your 6" newt, right?
aperture still rules, every inch matters :D

Hi,
Yes... I can see the difference... :( I think my 6" Newtonian beat the C5 in every category, except portability and weight.

Anyway, will use for a few more times... if I really cannot endure the smaller aperture, I'll put the C5 on sale and use back my 6" Newtonian. :)

Have a nice day.

Why not an MK67? quality optics, aperture, and portability in a single package. I can get one for you if you want :D

The problem is that I'll require to spend additional money to be astrophotography ready... :(

Anyway, will only consider if I can sell my 6" Newtonian. :)

Have a nice day.

Hi,
John Teh is starting a food stall at west coast hawkes center #01-133 opposite Ginza plaza... need to go and show some support on friday night, so will postpone the observation session to saturday (09 Apr 2005) night. Anyway, latest forecast indicate weather will not be good on friday night.

Hope weather will be good on saturday night.

Have a nice day.
