Next week is about possibility of alien life

The observing area is still doing cement works , lots of footprint spreading the dust around the floor.

Viewed Saturn and Jupiter for 80% of the 2 hour sidewalk before the clouds rolled in past 10:40pm , quickly packup incase rain although we wanted to stay longer and get some eyepiece time.
Only 1 star visible (orange color around Altair) when we started. Jupiter was mushy when barlow to 200x even after 1 hour of thermal balance with environment , had to tone down back to 100x magnification.
High altitude clouds ? Saturn wasn't bright to eyeball at zenith.

Weather cleared up briefly at 6pm with matching weather forecast , packed the bags by 7pm it's 90% full clouds.
8:40pm match optimistic weather forecast but high altitude clouds cause a bright halo scatter around Jupiter.
Likely my collimation issue (my first attempt) as it wasn't sharp on Jupiter and Saturn at 83x
Orion belt and sword visible by eye , I had difficulty locating it in finder and 32mm plossl eyepiece with the streetlights. Eventually Pieiades was covered by cloud before I could point there.
Much less people walking along the sidewalk compared to previous months.
