Hi All,

I might go for a two or one day trip to Mersing next friday or saturday (8 th or 9 th), dependin on company and weather. I can take one or two passegers with light gear.

Light Gear

Light gear means anything that can fit in the Sunny boot over and above my following eqpt.
Lx 90 in a 28 inch suitcase, Tripod, accessory case plus batteries, small aluminium table

The portaball should fit. Mooey simply needs to carry the curry pot on his lap while the rods can go in the boot....
must be exciting for him to try out one of the mother of all singastro scopes in mersing! I'm tempted, man but have other commitments.

Whoa!... have you really tried sitting in a car for three hours with the portaball currypot on your lap? I don't think it will be very comfortable, more of a test of endurance... ask Hendry for his opinion, as he had already 'endured' doing that going to-and-fro from Tuas.

Hi Kochu,
Will you be staying in any accomodation if it's a 2 day trip? I have a C5 and manfrotto tripod :D
