wow...nice shot. good detail and I see you're another Toucam fan. There seems to be alot here....heh ... damn pity that type of image is beyond the cap of my ETX...sigh..

BTW, I know there is an LXD55 8" but I don't remember ever seeing Meade having a model as what you specified. Is it a special edition?

This LXD500B telescope model is discontinued by Meade 2 years ago. There got another model called LXD300. I think this LXD300 also discontinued after Meade introduce the LXD55. You can find the LXD500 model series telescope in Meade catalog 2 years back.
It is not a special edition.
