Hi all,
I'm looking for a Vixen style (GP, SVP, CG-5 etc.) dovetail bar for my C8. It would be best if it has mounting options for a C8 but not absolutely necessary.
If you have one, do let me know and of course indicate how much you're selling and the length. If none can be found, will have to order from scopestuff.com next week. =)
Thanks for looking! =)

Hi,
You are not getting the normal Vixen dovetail, right?? You are looking for the long dovetail bar going to mount under your C8, right??
If yes, I don't think anyone had that type of dovetail bar for sale... I think your best chance is at scopestuff.
Have a nice day.

Hi, actually i do have one, but I have to go back and dig thru my astro cabinet first...
I did mount the long dovetail under my previous c8 before, but you still need to fabricate 2 adapter plates even if you have the long dovetail. I am not too sure you want to go thru all that trouble when your current setup works fine.

Well needed it to fix the RA optical axis problem on my setup. I "fixed" it (lowered the error margin) by adding a washer in one screw to raise the rear a little .. =)
Works alright now .. with my new toy .. hee hee ...

Baader Planetarium (Germany) makes them.
Only thing is it's the same model for C9.25 and C8, so it's a bit long for the C8
Go well!
