Hi all,

I have the following telescope OTA for sale: It was my first scope which i bought back in 2001 from Astro Scientific. I will be selling off the following items for $325.

1.) Celestron C150HD 150mm F/6.7 hybrid newtonian
Focal length= 1000mm (made in China).
I will be giving the cardboard box, the bubble wrap, and the super
saggy black army sling bag that I use to carry this scope around.

2.) 2 tube rings + screws + allen keys (1 big for the tube ring screws, 1
small for the collimating screws)

3.) Skywatcher Super 25mm Long Eye Relief eyepiece, comes with box only, no caps

The mirror has been cleaned by me and recollimated back to the best of my ability. There is a black circle ring on the primary mirror which I added myself last time. The secondary mirror holder is not able to be collimated and it is fixed solid (I have emailed Celestron years ago when I bought the scope and they verified this.)

The weight of the OTA is around 5.5-6kg. Although focal length is 1000mm, overall the tube is only 530mm long because it has a built in lens located in between the primary and secondary mirror. However the only drawbacks I feel is that the scope cannot perform well at high magification power of above 200x.

Feel free to call me for any further enquires 9137 3921 (hp)/ 6516 3205 (office)

Best regards,

Wow.... it's really tempting! Of cuz i won't be looking into the newtonian since I already have one. The 127mm MCT really sounds attractive... can consider bro? :)

When I meet up with Mr Lian to pass him back his scope, diagonal & finderscope, I can be like Keanu Reeves in The Matrix and say : "Woah...deja vu" hehe....

Hi all,

I have edited my first entry for this topic after Mr Lian's purchase. (The scope must be happy to end up with its original owner 8-)
Anyone who is interested are welcome to view the scope in my home. I live in Bedok North. I can also deploy the scope at the nearby carpark 215A upon request.

Best regards,
Junwei
