The C5+ is unbeatable as the most compact and portable 5" scope, now no longer in production. It is only 2.8kg and 11" in length. It works well as a second (grab-and-go) scope, a beginner's first scope or as a spotting scope.

Currently I am considering to upgrade to a bigger scope, so I will be clearing out these items from my dry cabinets.

For sale:

1. Celestron C5+ ota (f/10, 1250mm focal length) white tube with metal end-cap

2. Short Celestron dovetail base (also 1/4-20" threaded to fit any camera tripod)

3. Convenient integrated carry handle cum camera piggyback mount plate

4. 1.25" visual back

5. Celestron 1.25" diagonal

6. 2 nos. 1.25" eyepieces 18mm, 30mm.

7. Scopetronix red-dot finder & mount base

8. Astro-Zap 5" flexible dew-shield

9. Bob's Knobs installed

Good price for good scope,
i have taken a peep into it.
weixing , myself and richard collimated it at an ob site @ outram MRT station....!
It is well kept and very sharp scope. Good copy.

you can always keep another one without telling your mother..but in the end risking financial issues and inducing more spending desires..

And you know why? Your mum can't stand the first daughter-in-law already! Besides, still no grandchild for her, how to allow 2nd wife?
