Hi,
See this: http://comets.amsmeteors.org/meteors/sh ... idobs.html

May be our meteor expert, Mr ykchia, will be able to answer this.

Have a nice day.

Hi

Last Friday I talked about ORI 2006, and in the video presentation two ORI2005 also...were shown.

No moon interference on Oct 21. ORI meteor is pretty fast. Since it falls on weekends so have a go at it 2am onwards if the weather is good. The ZHR is around 20 so dont expect many.

Cool. I will probably be at my friend's place in Malaysia (near Desaru) during that date. If the weather is good, I will definitely see it from there.

would it be clear from east coast?

will be clear if there are no high altitude clouds and sufficiently dark. i think the best views would be from the beach, but since the ZHR is about 20 (as what ykchia has mentioned), u might wait quite a while for the meteors.
