Here is one fully legitimate mobile phone planetarium called MicroSky, which is a public domain software (it is FREE!!!)

http://www.upto.org/microsky/

Quote from its Consumer Licence:-

"MicroSky is a public domain program. It may be used free for personal non-commercial purpose. But it may not be sold in any way without permission of the programmer. This program is free, so I'm not accepting any liability. But it is my personal goal to keep the services for MicroSky running and I will care for them in my free time.

MicroSky is designed and developed by Sabine Plunder. The calculation module is provided by Richard van Nieuwenhoven. MicroSky uses services from SkyServer.

I hope you enjoy using MicroSky and would appreciate getting your requirements or suggestions to sabine.plunder@gmx.at"

Thanks for the link Alvin! It looks very good.

But as for me, I can't use as we don't have GPRS provider yet.

It tried Picosky on N70 and find it is a very good standalone program. Microsky must be connected to the server almost everytime. Does anyone know other standalone planetarium software on mobilephones?

Thanks,
Anat
