Meade just could not keep quiet
Personally, I think the shape is ugly (looks like a retro joystick) and dangerous to use - in the dark, the police patrol may mistake you holding a gun!

you can still rent all the episodes from the Espanade library.
Some of the episodes are cheesy at best but the special effects were ahead of its time then...
ok, back on topic. functionally, you have to admit its much better than the celestron. easier to hold, no need to peep into a small eyepiece. Aestetically, though...its a disaster. could have been a little more sleek. no wonder meade does not dare to showcase it on their website product list!

Not sure about that... especially when you had a full colour LCD to kill your dark adaptation. Hmm... So you had to "select" you want to see the "real" star or the star in the LCD??ok, back on topic. functionally, you have to admit its much better than the celestron.
