WTB: Transparent and 'Sticky' grease for screws

Post by mrngbss »

I'm looking for a special lubricant-like material. I saw one of my screws on an accessory which has this applied on the screw thread. It makes the screw less loose within the screw thread, but gives a smooth motion. Something like the Teflon grease but is thicker and transparent.

If you know what it is called, and where to buy, please let me know.

Thanks.

Hi wee nghee! I'm not sure if you're referring to vacuum grease. It is very sticky and comes in the "dirty yellow" or translucent-white usually applied to o-rings.
