Hi

looking for a celestron nexstar+ hand controller (usb) for Az mount (dont know if there is a difference in hand controllers used for Az and EQ mounts). I have a evolution mount whose hand controller is not working. On close inspection it appears that the HC cable is broken and hence not communicating with the mount.

If you a spare (those who have upgraded to star sense or from a mount that you are not using), please do drop me a PM/whatsapp nine4five6 seven4one4.

Forgot to update that I needed the hand controller with mini usb connector at the bottom of the handcontroller.

I checked the cable again and decided to do a DIY.. Got a Rj12 connector, a cable crimper.. Cut the cable, from where I suspected it was broken and crimped a new rj12 connector.

Attached to the port and viola it comes to life..
