Homemade reflector telescope

Wanna make a scope? Or better still, grind a mirror yourself. Or, you have some good tips in making a really useful accessory? This is the place to show what your hands can do...

Hi. I want to make a homemade newtonian reflector telescope. Where is a good place to buy the mirrors? Any other diagrams or tips would help. TIA. :)

Hi

Having designed and built several scopes, I can share that it involves lots of hard work, sweat and blood, expended time and money, etc that it is probably cheaper and easier to buy a scope in some cases. If you are serious to make DIY scope, then let us know your goal/objectives, mirror size and budget first and we can help you further. You can consider to get good mirrors from USA. Diagrams etc can be found in books or online sources, though I drew my own DIY scopes. Good luck.
