WTS: 8 inch Newtonian Reflector Telescope OTA [SGD100]

Used OTA for sale:
mirror: 8inch/200mm spherical mirror
fl: 800mm
f. ratio: f4
focuser: rack/pinion for 1.25" eyepiece
I mounted this on DIY dobsonian mount for wide field sky sweeping. I upgraded to expensive OTA hence why Im selling this.
Please know what you are getting as this has pros and cons:
Cons:
- Spherical mirror hence useful only at low magnification
- at f4 focal ratio, collimation is very important
- at f4, secondary is relatively big
- need to DIY dobsonian mount
Pros:
- cheap OTA, same spherical mirror alone in aliexpress costs more than 100sgd already
- big 8 inch aperture for price
- at f4 tube is shorter than other newts for an 8 incher
This complemented my smaller planetary scopes. On clear Singapore nights, its big aperture is still better at showing stars and orion nebula using 25mm and 32mm eyepiece.
Will drop in 20+mm eyepiece.
