FOR TRANSLATION
CC subtitles is not activated on Youtube.
You can play the video on laptop or monitor , use google lens app on smartphone > select bottom left Translate function
> optional to select chinese simplified at From instead of auto recognition
It is not fast enough for the phone to translate in real time before the subtitle change to new sentence , you have to pause the video and tilt the phone camera around to refresh the translator to new sentence.
