Selling this huge 150mm Sky-Watcher Refractor, 6" of unobstructed wide field views! Please note that this is a rather heavy scope (abt 20 lbs), I do not have a strong enough tripod to mount this scope.

Here's a link to a review of this scope. Skywatcher

Pic of the SW 150mm, the Astroslew/tripod is NOT included in the sale.

150mm Achro objective.

Comes with WO 2" focuser with 1:10 speed, this alone is
worth abt $300

Included is the WO finder bracket (not shown) for 50mm finder. Finderscope not included.

Extra: If you require the Baader Contrast Booster, pse add $80.00. Works
like the Orion Minus Violet filter or anti-fringing filter.

If you're keen on the Skywatcher 127mm Mak please PM me to discuss too.

Thanks Clifford,

May explore this option of a photo tripod again, actually my
benro tripod can take my whole body weight! (i tried it :)), but when
it comes to mounting this refractor, the moment of the tube will magnify
even the smallest flex in the tripod even though the load is not a problem

The MF028 looks robust, may Neoterryjoe will allow you to test it. Or may be both of you bring the equipment to Turf City ob this Fri and many gurus there will able to comment on the test.

bro.....I'll suggest you get Vixen EQ mount head from Vin Snr and then you use the surveyor tripod aluminium or wood type.....the custom base plate with north peg I will do it for you for free if you want it... :) :).....it works perfectly with your scope......than you can purchase Dual or Single motor drive from Vixen or EQ motor drive from Celestron..... :) :).

Hey amin, thanks so much for your offer for the base plate! Actually i like this scope very much and will now consider to keep it if its not sold by next week.

When funds permit I will look into a better mount, but my first option will be the WO EZtouch, easier to bring scope/mount for quick star party gatherings. As for now i will keep any mount purchase on hold.
