It's v v solid, no different from a pelican. Can store a C9.25 inside with space to space for eyepieces. If you have a smaller scope, can store buckets - i can store a skywatcher mount, CF tripod, a borg 125ED, cmos, asiair, eyepieces, laptop inside with space to spare. It makes observing easy as its just 1 case to pull out.
Extremely airtight - my desiccant lasts forever inside the case without needing a recharge.
the foam has been used, so it comes without foam - which you can easily buy online. else i can give you what is left of the foam.
