Giving Away - Failed Telescope Kit

ok. I bought this telescope kit set for around S$50 some years back.
The novelty was it was made from everyday parts.
It consisted of some real sewage PVC pipes mated to a 50mm achro objective . The "eyepiece" was actually a rifle sight of some sort. And to focus, you need to slide the rifle sight back and forth along the tube.
The images are ok once you get focus but getting into focus is the challenge here. In any case, I also botched up the paint job as was too eager.

Here are the photos :

The front view. There is some fungus on the lens from storage but for this class, cleaning it up will suffice. You can notice the toilet paper core inserted to keep the rifle sight at focus.

OK..I'm thinking maybe someone can revive this for a small project or cannibalise the objective and rifle sight for some other purpose. Giving this away, so strictly not for resale to karang guni man. Do PM me if you are interested. Self collect, please.
Thanks

ps. I'll even throw in the can of black spray paint I specially bought for this project, so you can redo the paint coat. Free as well.

Hi vermin498 and all
The item (notice I don't dare to call it a telescope!) has already been reserved on Sunday morning. I will ask the owner to please post photos and updates if he intends to work on it.
Thanks for the interest.

ok. the guy picked it up from me today. Let's hope he can give it a new lease of life. I provided him with the can of paint too so at least he has a chance to repair my botched up paint job!
Also asked him to post some photos if he is successful with the resuscitation...

Thanks for all the interest. Queue no 1 got the item...
