Hi all,

I bought a 16" diameter acrylic light globe with an intention to make a 10" portaball look-alike. However, the mirror cell I recently bought can't go with it without major modification.

I have since had other designs for my dob. I am selling the globe for $75.

The globe looks like this:

I was hoping to make something like this:

or this:

Any ATMers interested?

How to cut the globe? can the shop where you bought it cut to size?

Hi Arief,

The shop that sold me the globe sells lights. They do not do any cutting.

However, I did ask around and was told that 'Scan Art' may be able to do the cutting as they do acrylic stuff e.g. displays, signages etc.

You can bring the globe down to consult them first if you want to. Strictly no obligations.
